Civmec is excited to announce the award of several new contracts, including further works on the Iron Bridge Magnetite Project, additional works at the Hay Point loading port, construction of the Perth Kids’ Bridge, and various other contracts to be delivered from both our west and east coast facilities.

The Iron Bridge contract awarded to Civmec includes onsite structural, mechanical, piping and electrical works, and will employ approximately 400 people at peak.

Works will commence in early 2021, and are in addition to the site civil, steel structure and module works Civmec is currently delivering on the Iron Bridge Magnetite Project.

Civmec has also been awarded a contract for the supply, fabrication, surface treatment and assembly of more than 13,500 tonnes of wharf girders and associated structures for the development of the Hay Point loading port.

Located 40 kilometres south of Mackay, Queensland, the port infrastructure works will commence immediately and run until late 2022, employing approximately 350 people during the fabrication and assembly phases at Civmec’s Henderson facility.

In addition, Civmec is pleased to have won the construction contract for the new Perth Kids' Bridge, as well as multiple heavy engineering contracts that will be delivered from our Henderson and Newcastle facilities.

The recent contract awards take Civmec’s order book to more than $1.1 billion.
