Big congratulations to the Civmec team who have just recently completed a supply and fabrication contract for the Pluto–Karratha Gas Plant (KGP) Interconnector project.

The Interconnector will transport gas from the Woodside-operated Pluto LNG facility to the North West Shelf Project’s KGP via a 5km pipeline providing the opportunity to take advantage of future excess capacity at KGP and will also provide potential to accelerate future developments of other offshore Pluto gas reserves, as well as third-party resources.

Civmec’s overall scope of work for the project included the supply, fabrication, surface treatment, assembly, test and delivery of an interconnector module, stair tower module, skids and in excess of 3.5km of piping spools. This scope allowed us to demonstrate our diversity and depth of skills and capability throughout the Civmec business.

Big thanks to the Woodside and Worley teams for all their support, this has been a significant milestone and we are so proud of what we have achieved.
