The Drive-In, Sleep-In helps raise awareness and funds to support people who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
It’s alarming to learn that every night more than 9,000 West Australians experience homelessness and, of these people, more than 3,500 are young people and children. Even more specifically, 1,500 are children under 12 years of age.
A number of Civmec employees and their families participated in the event, braving the wet conditions and sleeping in their cars for the night, with an impressive $12,495 raised for the cause.
