The Albemarle Project, also known as the Kemerton Project, is the construction of WA’s largest lithium hydroxide conversion plant, located within the Kemerton strategic industrial area in Bunbury, Western Australia. The plant will initially consist of two production trains with a capacity of 40,000 tonnes per year (20,000 tonnes per train).
Our extensive scope on the project includes site civil works, fabrication and onsite installation of structural, mechanical and piping for the hydromet and final product, reagents and utilities for trains 1 and 2. Our onsite activities are being supported by our Henderson facility, which is fabricating and pre-assembling modularised components for the onsite erection. We are also carrying out refractory lining works to the pyromet package.
