Building on its successful track record of delivering on other previous and current EPC projects, Civmec is pleased to announce that it has been awarded this contract by Alcoa of Australia Ltd. Civmec will undertake the engineering, procurement, delivery, construction, integration, commissioning and performance testing of a filter facility, materials handling system and associated supporting infrastructure at Alcoa’s Pinjarra Alumina Refinery, located 80 kilometres south of Perth in Western Australia.
Civmec’s solution includes integrating the world’s largest plate and frame filters with the materials handling system. The contract will be executed over the next 18 months by a skilled workforce of more than 200 people.
Civmec has also been awarded a civil concrete contract by Altura Mining Lithium Operations Pty Ltd for the construction of their new lithium plant located in Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
