On the back of the successful delivery to these and other clients, Civmec is pleased to announce that it will be the nominated contractor for long-term maintenance contracts for:
- Pinjarra Alumina Refinery: Calciner shutdown contract for works involving refractory, mechanical, scaffold and electrical services for Alcoa of Australia Limited.
- Queensland Alumina Refineries: Shutdown contract for works involving refractory and mechanical maintenance services.
- FMG: Ongoing, maintenance services for shutdown work across their mines and ports.
Civmec has also secured a contract to carry out modification works for BHP Billiton (BHPB) on Orebody18 mine in the Pilbara area of Western Australia. The work involves a vertical package delivery of, steelwork, site civil works, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical, instrumentation and control.
The above mentioned contracts will equate to approximately AUD85 million of ongoing works over a three-year period.
