The fundraising event, held annually on one of the longest and coldest nights of the year, involves senior business and community leaders sleeping outside to raise money and awareness for homelessness.
It is Civmec CEO Pat Tallon’s sixth time taking part.
The sleepout will be held on Thursday 20 June, with Pat representing the west coast and Civmec EGM Mylon Manusiu representing the east.
The aim of this year’s national campaign is to achieve maximum awareness across the country and unite to raise more funds for homelessness than ever before. This is because more Australians than ever are relying on Vinnies for food, shelter and other assistance.
Civmec is relying on the generosity of the public, as well as clients, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders to reach the $120,000 target.
Donations can be made via the links below and will go directly to Vinnies, allowing them to provide vital support and services to people all around Australia who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness.
